Sky View Bobcats Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 16-5 loss to Bear River on Friday. Bear River scored on a home run by Roholt, a single by Kent, a double by Coombs, and a single by Madsen in the first inning.

The Sky View Bobcats Varsity struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Bear River, giving up 16 runs.

Bear River got on the board in the first inning. Roholt hit a solo homer.

Bear River scored six runs in the sixth inning. The offensive firepower by Bear River was led by Madsen and Roholt, all driving in runs in the inning.

Daws led things off on the rubber for Bear River. He lasted six innings, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out six and walking zero.

Cooper Kunz started the game for Sky View Bobcats Varsity. He went four innings, allowing eight runs on 11 hits, striking out three and walking one. Chris Broadbent threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Parker Murdock led Sky View Bobcats Varsity with two hits in three at bats.
