Sky View Bobcats Varsity nabbed the lead late in the game in a 3-2 victory over Ridgeline on Friday. The game was tied at two with Sky View Bobcats Varsity batting in the top of the seventh when Dawson Barson singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Sky View Bobcats Varsity pitchers struck out six, while Daxton Purser sat down eight.

Ridgeline got things moving in the first inning. Purser hit a solo homer.

Chris Broadbent earned the victory on the pitcher’s mound for Sky View Bobcats Varsity. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one.

Purser took the loss for Ridgeline. He went seven innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out eight.

Cooper Kunz started the game for Sky View Bobcats Varsity. He allowed five hits and two runs over five and a third innings, striking out five.

Jake Dygert, Ryder Lundahl, and Barson all had one hit to lead Sky View Bobcats Varsity.

Purser led Ridgeline with three hits in three at bats.
