Sky View Bobcats Varsity took the lead late and defeated Kanab 11-3 on Saturday. The game was tied at two with Sky View Bobcats Varsity batting in the top of the sixth when Derek Anthony drew a walk, scoring one run.

Sky View Bobcats Varsity secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the sixth inning. The offensive onslaught came from doubles by Tucker Murdock and Remington Craig, a walk by Anthony, a triple by Scout Morris, and a single by Cole Lundahl.

Sky View Bobcats Varsity evened things up at two in the top of the fourth inning when A Miller grounded out, scoring one run.

After Sky View Bobcats Varsity scored one run in the top of the seventh, Kanab answered with one of their own.

Stetsen Karren pitched Sky View Bobcats Varsity to victory. He surrendered three runs on five hits over seven innings, striking out four and walking zero.

#8 took the loss for Kanab. He surrendered four runs on five hits over five and a third innings, striking out five.

Sky View Bobcats Varsity tallied 11 hits on the day. Morris, Lundahl, and Tanner Martin all collected multiple hits for Sky View Bobcats Varsity. Lundahl and Morris each collected three hits to lead Sky View Bobcats Varsity. Sky View Bobcats Varsity was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Martin made the most plays with seven. Sky View Bobcats Varsity stole eight bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Martin led the way with three.
